SARGODHA: The President, Citizen Forum has drawn attention of the Commissioner Saeed Ahmed Khan towards corrupt officials of the Local Government Department, Mianwali District.

He pointed out that a sub-engineer, RD Markaz Daud Khel (Mianwali), was given additional charge of RD Markaz, Essa Khel and Kot Chandna, where he allegedly embezzled a huge amount from the contruction work expenses of seven schools which despite expenditure of Rs 10 million are incomplete and unattended.

Sub-standard material was reportedly used in the construction of schools.

He demanded an action against all such officials, who were extorting money from the government works with the blessing of political elite.
