team meets Azfar

KARACHI: A 33-member high powered Chinese trade delegation led by An Chengxin, Vice-Chairman, China Council for the promotion of international trade called on Sindh Governor Kamal Azfar at the Governor House here on Monday.

The Governor apprised the delegation of the economic and investment climate in Pakistan and informed that foreign investment of more than 2 billion dollars had been attracted in the last two years.

The Governor appreciated the Chinese technical help and support in the economic development, communications, trade and industry and security of Pakistan.

Leader of the Chinese delegation said the main purpose of the visit was to acquire knowledge of the economic development and markets in Pakistan as well as to establish new business contacts and explore ways for the trade promotion.-APP
