BD taka lower
against dollar
DHAKA: The Bangladesh taka closed easier at 41.5960/41.5985 to the dollar in inter-bank trading, from 41.5950/41.5970, dealers said.
"The taka remained slightly weaker on higher demand for dollars. The local unit is expected to remain steady on Wednesday" said a dealer with a foreign bank.
Dealers said inter-bank call money rates had ended steady in a narrow range of 9.25 percent to 9.5 percent, against 9.5-9.75 percent previously.-Reuter
