Oilseeds up on grain markets

KARACHI: Oilseeds were higher on the grain and seed markets where other commodities were traded mostly at the overnight levels.

Rapeseeds from Nawabshah and Mirpur scored a modest gain of Rs 10, rapeseeds from Dadulane gained Rs 5 to 8, rapeseed cakes, however, lost Rs 8. Groundnut Punjab gained sharply and was quoted higher at Rs 960 to Rs 1000 but til Sindh, which was gainer last week, shed Rs 10. Cottonseed cakes better variety were also lower by Rs 2-without specifying any reason.

A couple of changes on the coarse grain sector such as gram dal Punjab showed a loss of Rs 50. Bajra however rose by Rs 25.
