Easter observed

FAISALABAD: The Christian community of Faisalabad observed Easter with traditional religious fervour and enthusiasm here on Sunday.

The Day broke with special prayers in various churches for the solidarity, integrity and development of Pakistan. The main Easter function was held in the Catholic church of Railway road where Bishop Dr. John Joseph led the main Easter congregation.

He highlighted the importance of Easter and urged upon the christians to follow its message in its real spirit.

Similar functions were also held in other churches of the district.
