WORLD CUP DEFEAT
The Lahore High Court adjourned to June 6 the hearing of three alike petitions filed against the defeat of Pakistan cricket team in the quarter-final of World Cup at Bangalore, India.
The allegations of gambling and criminal negligence have been levelled against the players of the Pakistani cricket squad by all three petitioners.
The Deputy Attorney General submitted that the team was not available in the country. He expressed the hope that the team will be available in the country after May.
