GST seminar

KARACHI: A seminar on "evolution of general sales tax (GST) system in Pakistan" is being organised in Karachi on Wednesday April 10, at Hotel Marriot, Karachi, says a press release.

The seminar will be presided over by the Minister of State for Finance Mekhdoom Shahbuddin and the keynote speaker will be Riaz Ahmed Malik, member Central Board of Revenue (Sales). Other speakers include leading city businessmen and office bearers of the Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

A former member of the CBR, H. N. Akhtar is the Chairman of the Organising Committee of the Seminar while the function is being organised by Z.A. Hadi, of Customs and Excise Review.
