LAHORE: Iqbal Masih's murder was an accidental incident having no involvement with carpet businessmen.

It has been disclosed in a report compiled by Developing Nations Children Fund (DNCF) through an impartial investigation.

A DNCF's delegation led by J. Renni, Trustee of the DNCF in company of S.M. Muneer, former President FPCCI, called on Tariq Saigol, President, Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), to discuss various projects of DNCF for welfare of the developing nations' children.

Renni stated that former President of FPCCI, S.M. Muneer was also an active Trustee of the DNCF. He said that the DNCF had undertaken various projects for education and training of school children and housewives in Pakistan.

He looked for business communitys' assistance in these projects. Giving the details of these projects, Renni said that one of the education institutions was being set up at Muridke on Lahore-Gujranwala road. A piece of land covering 4-acre area has been purchased in this regard, he added.

President LCCI Tariq Saigol welcomed the trustees of DNCF and apprised them about the LCCI services in the social sector. However, he assured that he would extend all possible cooperation on behalf of the LCCI to promote the noble cause of DNCF.-PPI
