KASUR: Foreign Minister Sardar Aseff Ahmed Ali on Saturday reiterated that the country was always prepared to defend its geographical frontiers.

Addressing a number of meetings in his home constituency situated near the border-belt of Kasur here Saturday, the Foreign Minister said Pakistan would not be crowed down by Indian threats of carrying out another nuclear explosion.

He made it clear that "today's Pakistan is far different from that of 1971. We cannot be cowed down of Indian threats of possessing nuclear warheads or carrying out another nuclear explosion".

"We are a brave nation living in this region for the last thousand years and we will survive for thousands of years. It is high time that India should now give up wishful thinking. We are neither afraid of Indian missiles nor threats of nuclear devices. Brave nations know very well how to safeguard their integrity", the Foreign Minister said.-APP
