Excise Deptt directed to eradicate narcotics

KARACHI: Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister, Abdul Rahim Baluch, has directed the officials of Excise Department to intensify their efforts for eradication of narcotics from the province.

In a meeting with the officials of the Excise Department, the Adviser expressed concern on increase in the number of addicts and consumption of narcotics.

He also directed the officials of the Department to improve their performance.

Baluch also asked the officials that any dereliction of duty would not be tolerated.

He said that we all should join hands for a society free from narcotics as has been desired by Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
