Defunct Saudi firm: claims invited from Pak workers

LAHORE: Pakistanis who worked in Carlson Company in Saudi Arabi and came back after its closure due to bankruptcy have been asked to submit their claims for payment of their dues.

This was announced by Overseas Pakistanis Foundation here on Friday after a message received from Pakistan embassy in Saudi Arabia.

It has been informed that those 59 Pakistani working in Carlson Company in Saudi Arabia and after bankruptcy of the company, they came to Pakistan without getting their dues.

Now, the Saudi Government after confiscating the property of the company, has decided to pay its former employees after the auction of the Company's assets .

The OFP has asked all those 59 Pakistanis who served the Carlson Company in Saudi Arabia, to submit their claims with the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation, Sector 5/2, Constitution Avenue near Prime Minister Secretariat, Islamabad before April 30.

The workers who have been asked to produce their documents of employment with Carlson Company can also contact the regional offices of Overseas Pakistanis Foundations in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta and Azad Kashmir for further informations.-APP
