Chief Minister who was addressing a large gathering of people at the ground-breaking ceremony which was performed by Prime Minister, at ADC workshop ground in Abad village, about 5 km from Sukkur, said vested interests had started a vicious campaign of rumours a few days back that the Sindh Government was faced with deficit. The Chief Minister declared this was a blatans lie, there was no such deficit and held out that his government had enough resources to meet the nation building projects now in progress.
