leaves for Jordan

ISLAMABAD: Air Chief Marshal Muhammad Abbas Khattak, Chief of the Air Staff, on Friday left for a ten- day official visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Sultanate of Oman.

He was seen off at the PAF Base Chaklala by the Ambassador of Jordan, Dr. Yasin Estanbolie and Ambassador of Oman, Muhammad Bin Yousaf Shalwanie, says an SPR Press Release.

During his stay Jordan, ACM Abbas Khattak will meet the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Royal Jordanian Armed Forces besides meeting his counterpart. He will also visit the Mwafaq Al-Salti Air Base and the King Hussein Air Academy at Mafraq.

In the Sultanate of Oman, the PAF Chief will call on the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces and the Secretary of Defence. He will also visit the Sultan Qaboos Air Academy besides visiting a number of air bases of the host country.-APP
