CHICAGO: Grain and oilseed exports reported by USDA and private export sources.

CORN SALE: Private exporters reported export sales of 156,000 tonnes of corn for delivery to South Korea during the 1995/96 marketing year, the U.S. Agriculture Department said Wednesday. The marketing year for corn begins Sept 1.

WHEAT TENDER: The Egyptian government's Holding Company for Rice and Flour Mills said it extended the deadline for bids to buy 100,000 tonnes of red winter wheat to 1200 (1000GMT) May 2 from April 10. The wheat is for loading between June 5 and July 25. The wheat can be of any origin but it must be from the last season.

CORN TENDERS: Taiwan's Members Feed Industry Group is scheduled to tender Friday for 54,000 tonnes of U.S. No.2 corn, U.S. exporters said. The corn is for May-June shipment.

The Philippines will likely hold a tender for 50,000 tonnes of white corn around the middle of April, Manila grains traders said on Wednesday. The corn will come from either the United States or Zimbabwe, the traders said.

RICE TENDER: Iraq is seeking to buy about 250,000 tonnes of Thai rice worth about $100 million on credit this year, Deputy Prime Minister Amnuay Virawan told reporters on Wednesday. Amnuay said Iraq was ready to buy the rice provided Thailand extended its one-year credit for payment.

OILSEED TENDER: Morocco will tender next Monday for 40,000 tonnes sunflower seed and soybeans, the first lot for April 15-25 arrival and the second for April 26-May 5.

VEGETABLE OIL TENDERS: Pakistan's Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) is likely to tender for 6,000 tonnes of RBD palm oil soon, a TCP official said. The official said TCP would tender in the next few days.

India's STC is tendering to buy 6,000 tonnes of RBD palm olein for April 5-25 shipment on Wednesday, traders said.

Morocco is to tender Friday for 18,000 tonnes vegetable oil for late April/early May shipment, a ministry official said.

VEGETABLE OIL TENDERS: Egypt's state Food Industries Company said it wanted to buy 10,000 to 15,000 tonnes of vegetable oil and 10,000 to 15,000 tonnes of palm olein for first half July shipment. The vegetable oil could be either sunflower oil, semi-refined cottonseed oil, U.S. cottonseed oil of 162 degrees or degummed soyoil. The palm olein should be of Malaysian or Indonesian origin and should be shipped from the country of origin. The deadline for bids in the two separate tenders is 1000 GMT on April 24, it added.

MARKET TALK: Authorizations to purchase $10 million worth of U.S. wheat and $10 million worth of U.S. soybean meal under PL 480 were issued to Ukraine Wednesday, USDA said. The authorization provides for purchases of about 41,000 tonnes of wheat, and 37,000 tonnes of soybean meal. The contracting period is April 10 through Sept 30 and delivery is for April 10 through Dec 31.-Reuter
