Dull trading on Akbari Mandi

LAHORE: Dull trading was observed on the main commodity centres of the provincial metropolis on Thursday.

Trading at Akbari Mandi become slow after the news that a PML(N) activist, Javed Ashraf, had been killed allegedly by police during a procession taken out by the PML(N) workers on the Mall where protest rallies were supposed to have been banned.

Overall, very few transactions took place amid a lower turnout with steady price level. Most of the businesses were recorded in kiryana sector which remained glued to its overnight prices.
