MUMBAI: Indian metal prices held steady in a narrow trading range on Wednesday on little demand from industrial consumers, said dealers.

Copper and zinc were firm at 15,325 rupees per quintal and 6,450 per quintal. Lead was quoted at 4,925 amid limited trade.

Nickel was steady at an improved level of 39,800 rupees per quintal on stray physical support. It was up by 200 rupees on Tuesday. Tin was quiet at 34,600 rupees and aluminium at 7,600.-Reuter
