Fire breaks Mohlanwal textile mill

LAHORE: Goods and instruments worth Rs 12.5 million, were completely burnt when a fire mysteriously broke out in the premises of Grace Textiles Mills at Mohlanwal near here Wednesday.

According to Sunder Post Police, the factory owned by five persons including Mohammad Arshad and Mohammad Akram was not in operation due to the disconnection of electricity by Wapda on Tuesday. The chowkidar, Malik Khalid was the first man to witness the smoke emitting from the factory. By the time, fire brigade reached the spot to put down the fire, every valuable had ended into smoke.

"The fire was just an accident; this is not due to fault of any person", Mohammad Akram said.-APP
