Metal steady
Indian copper, tin rise, other metals steady
BOMBAY: Prices of copper and tin recovered on Wednesday on renewed buying and reduced supplies while other metals were steady, dealers said.
Copper rose 50 rupees to 15,850 rupees per quintal while tin rose 100 rupees to 35,500 rupees per quintal on renewed physical support and eased supplies. Last week, copper lost 200 rupees and tin 300 rupees per quintal.
Nickel was steady at 39,500 rupees per quintal. It was down 600 rupees last week. Aluminium was quiet at 7,500 rupees per quintal and so was zinc at 7,300 rupees and lead at 5,000 rupees per quintal respectively. -Reuter
