LAHORE: Traffic police of the provincial metropolis would be provided hats after Eid holidays.

In this regard a traffic police official revealed that hats for traffic police staff were designed last year keeping in view the requirements of summer season and were provided to the staff on experimental basis.

He said the hats proved very protective against scorching heat and proved beneficial for the staff.

Now, after Eid-ul-Azha holidays all the traffic police staff would be provided hats for the performance of their duties during sunshine hours.

It may be mentioned here that earlier traffic police had been using warm cap in all seasons including summer.-PPI
