Indian govt plans to

ban Eid prayers in

Srinagar

SRINAGAR: The Indian puppet authorities in the held region, were reportedly considering to impose a ban on offering of Eid-ul-Azha prayers by the Muslim faithfuls on Monday in view of the growing tension between the Hindus and Muslims over the so-called election play.

According to KPI, the administration has already given a free hand to military and paramilitary troops and their agents to enter the mosques to search the militants control unrully mobs' and avert any untoward incident and has also banned reciting of Azan on loudspeakers in several areas including Kargil sector.

Meanwhile, the troops of 14th regiment deployed at Vandvan camp, during crackdowns in Behrampure and Braingund Bero areas of Badgam district in central Kashmir, ordered out the people in open and conducted their identification parade, they critically tortured more than 100 people of them, 30 lost their conscience.

The troops destroyed the house of one Adbul Rahim Dar in Chadura area and arrested two women besides martyring one civilian during a crackdown in-Mikhitama Biro area. One occupation personnel was killed in a clash with the freedom fighters in Kanchipura. The people of Ranger, Vangam and Yohama were reported to have taken out demonstrations to protest the Indian atrocities and shouted anti-India and pro-Pakistan slogans.

The state newspapers did not appear on the tenth consecutive day on Sunday in view of the pressurising tactics from the puppet authorities which led to ban by the freedom fighters on the publication of official statements and advertisements, neither side has so far taken any step for the resumption of the publication of newspapers.-PPI
