Constant failures on political front demoralises Opposition: Amrohvi
ISLAMABAD: The Secretary & Spokesman PPP Parliamentary Group, Izhar Amrohvi said that the constant failures and disappointments on political front have dented the morale of Opposition Leader making him shout at the government.
Such an outburst did not come a surprise to the government for it knew the heat-oppressed brain cannot conceive fresh and positive ideas, said a press release.
The PML (N) Chief has recently accused Asif Ali Zardari for abusing state resources. He also blamed Zardari for the recent deficit which, according to him, is about to reach Rs. 1 trillion (One Kharab). Amrohvi said berating others was pretty easy thing. The hard fact known to every one was that present state of affairs specially the economy conditions were direct result of inapt policies evolved during Nawaz era.
It is on official record that Mian Sahib and his fellow leaguers have ruthlessly plundered the national exchequer and abused the state resources and promoted nepotism. Amrohvi said Mian Sahib virtually ruined the economy through his plans only to strengthen his Ittefaq Foundries and chain of Sugar Mills.
The facts revealed by the state agencies showed that a huge chunk of money had been devoured by Nawaz Leaguers in the past, cases against those who misappropriated the state money were in the courts, Amrohvi said. He, advised Mian Nawaz Sharif to first clear his position before making false allegations against the Government. Berating Zardari or his family would lead Mian Sahib no where as it was the old habit of Opposition Chief to scorn others only to shift the blame.
Amrohvi said if Nawaz Leaguers have some hard evidence to support their allegations against Zardari they should come up with proof before the respected courts for justice. Commenting on PML (N) Chief's "yelling" that he will hang the morally crippled up side down, Amrohvi said that was what PPP Government was already trying to do as grilling morally crippled figures was at top of Government priorities.
He advised Mian Nawaz Sharif to join the government fight for economic stability and peace as he is now a dead wood which could not carry even his own weight. He could ensure his survival in politics only by joining PPP's fight against terrorism and anti-state elements as he had now no strong cards to play against the government.-APP
