New Delhi :- Pro-plebiscite Kashmiris in their stepped up struggle for freedom on Saturday fired two rockets at the Indian army base, causing serious injuries to seven armymen in Kupwara district of strife-torn Jammu and Kashmir, sources said.

Sources said the two rockets were fired this afternoon at the army base, one of which exploded inside the base, causing serious injuries to seven soldiers while the second rocket exploded on way to the target.

However, officials confirmed that one rocket was fired at the army head-quarters in the district but exploded in mid-air and caused nono casualty.

Meanwhile, 12 Kashmiris were killed in the continued clashes with Indian troops across the Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir since Friday evening, sources said.

Sources said three government buildings were also torched during the period. Indian troops during their continuing operations across the state also arrested over 10 Kashmiris.-APP
