Engineers to

hold convention

from May 9

KARACHI: The Institute of Engineers Pakistan is holding its 36th convention from May 9 to 11 at a local hotel.

Engr. Abdul Wahab F. Shaikh, Advisor to the Governor of Sindh has consented to inaugurate the convention .

During the convention the following technical activities will be held:

Seminar on Environmental Engineering.

Seminar on Construction Industry.

11th National Confernece on Fracture Mechanics.

Technical Sessions on: Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical & Aeronautical Engineering.

There will be an Annual Dinner to be followed by a musical evening. There may be some other cultural programmes also, details of which will be made available to the participants. This convention will be attended by delegates from U.K., Middle East, Saarc countries, Central Asian Republics and Africa in addition to engineers from all over Pakistan. This will be an ideal opportunity for the participants to meet hundreds of engineers from all over Pakistan and abroad.
