to provinces

LAHORE: The 24th meeting of the board of management kf Pakistan Bait ul Mal (PBM) was held here at its head office on Wednesday under the chairmanship of M.A.K. Chaudhry, Chairman (Ameen) Pakistan Bait Ul Mal.

The overall performance of PBM was reviewed and various important decisions were taken to accelerate the pace of its activities especially in the domain of child labour rehabilitation mobile dispensaries and Dastkari schools.

Besides examining various cases of Individual financial assistance and medical treatment, the board gave formal approval for an amount of Rs. 7,802,866 for 124 cases of financial assistance. The board also gave fnrmal approval for an amount of Rs. 7,954,373 which was spent on providing Eid gift packages to 89,000 beneficiaries.

The Board approved allocation of more funds to the provinces under the heads of individual financial assistance and medibal treatment. The distribution among the provinces, which is based on population, is as follows:-
