CPLC working

to issue work

permits to

illegal immigrants

KARACHI: Citizen Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) is preparing a feasibility report regarding registration and issuance of work permits to the illegal immigrants settled in Karachi.

This was said by CPLC members Sharafuddin Memon and Azhar Nabi talking to the participants of the 13 day para legal workshop organized by War Against Rape (WAR) here.

The participants were informed that through registration the foreign settlers residing in city would get a legal cover helping them to seek better job opportunities besides necessary protection in their respective employments.

Memon said that the CPLC has also ensured proper arrangements to maintain records and statistics of cars snatched and stolen in city on monthly basis. The visitors also took a round of the well equipped CPLC office helping to trap the culprits.-APP
