Dye merchants
call for security
against dacoities
RECORDER REPORT
KARACHI: Mohammad Gulzar Sheikh, Chairman, Pakistan Chemicals and Dyes Merchants' Association (PCDMA) has urged upon Chief Minister Abdullah Shah and the Commissioner of Karachi to take measures to curb increasing incidents of dacoities in Jodia Bazar and adjoining areas.
In a statement here on Tuesday, he pointed out that a dacoity took place on Sunday in Khaliq Traders' shop in Jodia Bazar, in which Rs 530,000 were looted in broad day light.
He also appealed to authorities to post more police personnel in Jodia Bazar to curb criminal activities.
