QUETTA: Balochistan cabinet meeting here on Tuesday decided on bringing at par pay and allowances of Leader of Opposition, members Balochistan Assembly and provincial ministers with pay and allowances of their counterparts in other provinces of Pakistan. Chief Minister Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Magsi has, however,. disagreed with any increase in his pay and allowances.

Chaired by Magsi, the coalition cabinet approved Child Labour Legislation 1995. It also approved draft for Balochistan University legislation.

The cabinet further sanctioned a scheme for Motor Vehicle Registration in the province. Under this new scheme, number plates of all vehicles would be computerised. There will be separate colour for number plates for private, official and commercial vehicles.

The meeting reviewing the decisions taken earlier, directed their immediate implementation.-PPI
