murder Ajmal

KARACHI: Altaf Hussain founder leader of the MQM and members of MQM Co-ordination Committee have expressed their grave concern and anxiety over alleged murder plans of Ajmal Dehlavi, Chief Negotiator of the MQM negotiating team and members of the MQM Co-ordination Committee.

In a statement issued from London and faxed to newspapers in Karachi and elsewhere the MQM chief, Altaf Hussain appealed to the President of Pakistan and other higher authorities in the helm of country's affairs to take serious notice of this "malicious planning, conceived by the ruling Peoples Party to eliminate the MQM leadership otherwise unbridled administration would spell irreparable disaster to the country."

"He also demanded of them to provide foolproof security measures for the MQM leaders whose lives are being threatened."

He called upon his party men to further strengthen their unity to face the new challenges.

In the meantime Senator Ishtiaq Azher Convener MQM Coordination Committee has repeatedly drawn the attention of the President and the Chief Justices of the High Courts to take immediate positive steps to save the life of an elderly MQM member Hassan Musanna Alvi lying in serious condition in interior jail.-PPI
