GST petition
RECORDER REPORT
LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has asked Deputy Attorney General to assist the court on a writ petition challenging the imposition of General Sales Tax on 46 different items of daily usage.
The petition had been filed by Peoples Movement terming this imposition of Sales Tax as illegal, mala fide and without any lawful authority.
The court while directing the representative of Federal Government for assistance has fixed April 27 as next date of hearing.
