LONDON: Anglo-French Channel Tunnel operator Eurotunnel on Monday reported a net loss in 1995 of 925 million pounds ($1.41 billion).

The debt-laden company, which is currently in negotiations with its banks to secure its future, said the loss was after financial charges of 768 million pounds, of which 118 million represented bank interest unpaid since September last year when it suspended interest payments.-Reutert
