Chinese envoy for high level bilateral exchanges

HYDERABAD: Zhang Chengli the ambassador of the Peoples' Republic of China in Pakistan has said that Pak-China friendship has stood the test of times as both countries share common goals and perception on issues concerning regional peace and stability.

He was addressing the members of Hyderabad institute of international affairs here on Sunday.

He said that both the countries have played a positive role in opposing hegemony and power politics in the region and in establishing a just and reasonable new international political and economic order.

He said the Chinese government attaches much importance and a high value to Sino- Pak friendly and cooperative relations. He stressed three areas for strengthening bilateral exchange of various fields between China and Pakistan, such as high level exchange of views, devoting major efforts to enhance mutual bilateral economic and trade cooperation and strengthening consultation and cooperation in international issues.-APP
