MAKKAH AL MUKARRAMAH: Over one million chilled Zam Zam water bottles by order of Khadim Alharmain King Fahd Ibn Abdul Aziz are being distributed among the Haj pilgrims every day free of cost, reports UPP special correspondent.

Some 200 to 300 trucks are used daily for the distribution of this chilled drinking water to the pilgrims.

The Saudi authorities are particularly examining all health certificates, especially from the African countries where some health problems in recent weeks were reported. It is being ensured that wherever a pilgrim is found wanting in the medical papers, he or she are administered the required dosage for prevention of epidemic such as meningitis and cholera.

The Saudi authorities have again warned the pilgrims to refrain from displaying any posters or banners that are contrary to the Islamic spirit and Haj practices. This is considered as another warning against the possible Iranian pilgrims' attempt to display banners or stage any rally.
