on "Cell Biology"

in September

KARACHI: The Aga Khan University in coordination with Karoliska Institute, Stockholm and Hospital for Sick Children, Canada is organising a five-day "Cell Biology Workshop" here in September.

The workshop is part of the Dean's series of workshop on contemporary topics in basic sciences and medicine instituted in 1995 with the specific aim to enhance the knowledge of the contemporary basic sciences among the faculty, research fellows and students from all over Pakistan.

The topic Cell Biology selected for the current year has been selected with the aim to present an update of recent developments in this field and to provide an insight in understanding the mechanisms of molecular actions and information on cellular communications and signal transduction.

During the workshop participants will also be selected for laboratory exercises on the basis of their interest and involvement in using molecular biology techniques for diagnosis and research.-APP
