ADB seminar
on bank's funded
projects today
ISLAMABAD: The Asian Development Bank will be conducting a disbursement seminar in the Holiday Inn from April 23-25 for government staff implementing bank funded projects throughout the country.
The purpose of the seminar will be to provide hands on training in bank's policies and procedures to ensure timely and smooth flow of funds as required.
The seminar will be opened by Magdi Morcos, controller of the Asian Development Bank and Sajid Hassan, Joint Secretary, Economic Affairs Division.
As of 31 December 1995, the Asian Development Bank has provided 164 loans totalling $8.295 billion. In addition, grants of $59 million have been provided under technical assistance. Pakistan is the second largest recipient of the Bank's assistance.-APP
