Plea to issue

utility bills

before 10 days

of due date

BAHAWALPUR: Khawaja Mohammad Ilyas President Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) has drawn the attention of Suigas, Wapda and telephone departments towards an important issue of general public and demanded that utility bills be distributed before 10 days of its payment date and same period be fixed for the deposits of these bills in national banks.

In a press statement he said that some members of Bahawalpur Chamber have lodged the complaints that staff of several banks in the city has been found reluctant to receive utility bills while bank counters did not function for the full time.

He asked the concerned authorities to take the notice of this situation and take necessary steps for the redressal of public grievances.-PPI
