to UBL officers

M. Shafi Arshad after assuming the charge as President of the United Bank Limited, addressing the Senior Executives and Divisional Heads at Head Office stressed the need for putting extra efforts and greater care in enforcing prudent lending, recovery of overdue loans, curtailment of administrative expenditure aimed at improving the profitability of the bank and to make speedy efforts to implement structural reforms so as to attain the directives set forth by State Bank of Pakistan. He desired early introduction of new products for opening of new business avenues for customers which could lead to increased rates of return to depositors as well boosting profitability of the bank.
