Muslim Ummah

urged to stop

Indian atrocities

in Kashmir

ISLAMABAD: President Pakistan Peoples Party, Azad Kashmir (PPP AK), Barrister Sultan Mahmood has urged the Islamic world to sever diplomatic and trade ties with India, taking notice of draconian methods being used by her to quell the just movement for liberation of occupied Kashmir.

He was talking to newsmen here at the Islamabad International Airport on his return after a brief visit to the UAE.

He feared that India has planned a final crackdown in the occupied Kashmir, to prevent resistance and successfully stage the drama of holding farcical elections in the held Kashmir.

He, however, predicted that India will fail to break the will of valiant Kashmiris to achieve their inherent right to self-determination, despite the brutal use of force.

Barrister Sultan said the Kashmir Liberation Movement has entered in a decisive phase adding that the time is not far off when the Kashmiris will succeed in forcing Indian occupation troops to vacate valley.

He said India, after her failure to crush the Kashmir Liberation Movement through her oppression and suppression has started making attempts on the lives of APHC leaders and arsoning their houses.

Answering a question, he accused the incumbent AJK government of sticking to power and said the holding of polls in the AJK on time is imperative so that the AJK could be turned into real base camp of Kashmir Liberation Movement.

He said the present government led by Sardar Qayyum Khan has done nothing practical for the Kashmir cause and remained busy in looting the national exchequer.-PPI
