enhance Pak-Iran

relations: Mirani

RAWALPINDI: The exchange of visits at various levels in different fields between Pakistan and Iran, will help further enhance the already existing, cordial and fraternal relations.

This was stated by Defence Minister Aftab Shahban Mirani in a meeting with the Commander-in- Chief of Iranian Air Force, Brigadier -General Habib Baghayl, who called on him in the Ministry of Defence on Sunday, says a press release.

Mirani said Pakistan was grateful to Iran for its unconditional support for the just cause of the Kashmiri people. Concern was expressed on the violation of Human Rights on a massive scale in Indian held Kashmir by occupation forces. He said the Kashmir issue should be resolved in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations.

Mirani elaborated that the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) has already adopted resolution on Kashmir unanimously.The visiting dignitary said his visit would provide opportunity to the Air Forces of the two brotherly countries to benefit from the experiences of each other and also extend cooperation in Iranian and other fields.-APP
