KARACHI: Mixed price pattern was evident on the Jodia Bazar on Sunday, where trading activity continued smoothly till late in the evening
Sectors such as that of plastic mouldings and jute goods etc maintained previous level, while tea and milk powder transpired some changes on both sides of the counter.
Milk powder retrealing under pressure of heavy import reports, took to uphill course due to accelerated demand by hotels and restaurants: Skimmed per 25 kgs Lithuania rose by Rs 95 and Alpha up Rs 30, Poland Higher by Rs 75 and farmer up Rs 50. Full cream instant Green flag up Rs 50, Kerry gold up Rs 20 and Adlac up Rs 50.
Tea maintained down drift in the face of unbridled availability of smuggled goods which has plagued upcountry market: Kenyan PF-1A unchanged at Rs 120, B grade shed Rs 3, plus C grade up Re one and C up Rs 5. BP-1 A and B grades down by Rs 5, Plus C grade shed Rs 2 and C grade down by Rs 3. D-1 A, B, plus C and C grades climbed down by Rs 5 each Dust A and B grades shed Rs 5 each but C grade lost Rs 2. Bangladesh's: Garden pack (original) and Gulab shed Rs 5 each, STD 515 down by Rs 10 and Khushbu, STD 16, STD/BOP and Garden pack BOP conceded Rs 5 each.
China's green: 9575, 8117, 25101, 35101, 2241 and black China each shed Rs 5. Indonesian tea: PF-1 Good A, Good B, BP-(CTC) and PD (CTC) dropped Rs 5 each. Tanzanian tea: PF-1 (CTC) shed Rs 5, BP-1 dropped Rs 3, PD (CTC) gave in Rs 5 each. Rwanda tea: PF-1 (CTC) and BP-1 (CTC) conceded Rs 5 each and PD (CTC) dropped Rs 3.
