Add UBL appointments

PESHAWAR: An APP report adds that the recent changes in the top management of the United Bank Limited were aimed to strengthen its operations by improving the overall efficiency so as to secure the interest of the depositors.

This was stated by the Regional Chief Executive, United Bank Limited, S.M. Asif while presiding over a meeting of Zonal Chiefs and Chief Managers of the Region at RHQ, Peshawar.

According to a press release issued here on Sunday, S.M. Asif said that the task of the new management is to ensure maximum recovery in stuck-up advances, prudent lending and curtailment of un-necessary expenses.

The Regional Chief Executive stressed upon the field managers to gear up their efforts so as to achieve the above objectives, aimed at improving profitability of the Bank thereby proving better returns to the customers.

He hoped that, we would show still better results under the guidance of State Bank of Pakistan. It would provide us an opportunity to revive the past traditions of growth and glory of United Bank. He also hailed the bold and courageous decision of the present government.-APP
