LAHORE: Mr. Justice Sheikh Ijaz Nisar on Saturday took oath as acting Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court (LHC) in the absence of LHC Chief Justice, Mr. Justice Khalil Ur Rehman who has gone to perform Haj.

The Punjab Governor Lt. Gen (Retd) Raja Saroop Khan administered the oath to the acting Chief Justice at Governor House. Cabinet members, judges of the high court, prominent lawyers, and high ranking civil officials also attended the ceremony.-APP
