LAHORE: The difficulties being faced by the garments manufacturers in issuance of Income Tax exemption certificates should be removed so that they may continue to contribute in the promotion of national exports. It was stated by Pervez Hanif, Chairman Pakistan Ready Made Garments Manufactures and Exporters Association (PRGMEA), North Zone in a meeting with S M Munir, Regional Commissioner, Income Tax the other day at Income Tax Office.

S M Munir advised the (Prgmea) Chairman to take up the matter with CBR for extension in time and place of the exemption certificates. However, he assured that the complaint regarding delay in issuance of this certificates would be removed. In this connection he asked. Pervez Hanif to issue a recommendation letter.
