Doctors should
serve rural
population: Rajpar
HYDERABAD: A Symposium on "Catarac, IOL and Phacoemulcification" was organised here on Saturday by Ophthalmological Society of Pakistan Hyderabad Zone at a local hotel.
The Secretary of Sindh Health Department Dr. M.Kamil Rajpar was the chief guest and inaugurated the Symposium.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. M. Kamil Rajpar said that doctors should come forward and do post graduation and diploma courses, get jobs and serve in rural areas as the posts of Specialists are vacant in Rural Health Centres and Taluka Hospitals.
He said that Government was making all-out effort to solve the problems of doctors.
Dr. M. Kamil Rajpar appreciated the Society for organising the Symposium and said that training and refresher Courses are important for any profession.
Earlier, President of the Society Dr. Muhammad Majahid Siddiqui welcomed the chief guest.
On the occasion, shield of the Ophthalmological Society was presented to Dr. M. Kamil Rajpar.-APP
