Govt to extend

allout assistance

to foreign

investors: Saroop

LAHORE: The Governor Punjab, Lt. Gen. (Retd) Raja Saroop Khan, has said that there is a wide scope for the foreign entrepreneurs in Pakistan and the present government will extend allout assistance to the foreign investors to take initiatives for mutual trade accords with the Pakistani businessmen.

Talking to the members of Singapore Confederation of Industries (SCI), Trade Mission to Pakistan, headed by Tan Wah Thong, which called him, here at the Governor's House on Tuesday, the Governor said that due to the growing economic stability in Pakistan, the foreign entrepreneurs should make full use of the liberal fiscal policy.

the governor hoped that Singaporian businessmen will clearly realize the value of economic cooperation and make more vigorous efforts for advances in the common interest of our two countries through increase exchanges and cooperation between the business communities. Members of the Trade Mission to Pakistan, expressed confidence in the package of incentives which Pakistan has tailored for the foreign entrepreneurs.

They were hopeful of initiating collaboration with their Pakistani counterparts in the fields of oil, gas, power generation, telecommunication and textile. The incentives, offered by the Pakistani business climate are very lucrative and practicable, they maintained.-APP
