to remain open

on Fridays

FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Dry Port will remain open on Fridays to handle the imports and exports consignments.

This was disclosed by Syed Mumtaz Haider Rizvi, Collector Customs, Faisalabad, while inaugurating the "executive block" at dry port here on Wednesday.

He said that skeleton staff of Customs Directorate will be deputed to clear the export consignments during holidays.

He said that head of the National Bank has promised to set up special booth for the collection of government duties on Fridays and Saturdays also.

He hoped that this arrangement will help in increasing exports from this port.
