ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto had yet another lengthy meeting with President Leghari on Tuesday for incisive exchange of views on national and foreign policy issues. The meeting was followed by a luncheon.

Nothing has been officially communicated about the talks but it is believed that the Supreme Court order and its aftermath and the prime minister's offer to the Opposition Leader for dialogue prominently figured during these one-to-one parleys.

Afghanistan, particularly in the context of Iranian Foreign Minister's visit here from Thursday, also reportedly came under discussion. Dr. Velayti will be delivering a letter from his president to the prime minister to attend inauguration of newly-built Iran-Turkmenistan rail link.

President Leghari had received a letter from Nawaz Sharif last week in which the latter had urged him to ensure implementation of the Supreme Court order in the judges' case. Though Leghari has not so far responded to Sharif's letter the prime minister wrote to him for initiation of talks the Opposition Leader had proposed on the floor of the National Assembly.

Prime Minister Bhutto also recorded some of her thoughts on the hanging of her father which are likely to be telecast on April 4, the death anniversary of the former premier.
