to let Indian
nationals go
LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has directed the Rangers authorities to allow Jani Muhammad Sharif and other Indian nationals to go to their homeland.
These Indian citizens had approached the august court against the officials of the Rangers and Customs appointed at the Wahga border for not allowing them to go back to their homeland.
The petitioner Jani Muhammad Sharif, who is leading a group of around 28 Indian pilgrims, submitted in his petition that the Samjhota Train carrying them was checked by the Rangers officials at Wahga border and they were not allowed to go to India.
It was submitted that the passengers, especially the women passengers, were misbehaved, even their clothes were tore during the search process by the Rangers men and whole train was forcibly sent back to Lahore station.-PPI
