KL tin closes

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's tin price closed unchanged at 16.05 ringgit ($6.42) a kg as players stayed bullish on the metal despite an overnight correction in London, traders said.

"There was as much buying as selling and the fundamentals look good for tin now," said a dealer.

A major trading house said the local premium against London rose to $60 a tonne from $45 on Thursday. Turnover was at 135 tonnes against 168 previously. Buyers were from Europe and Malaysia.-Reuter
