Kashmir meets

Sindh CM

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Abdullah Shah, said here on Friday that Kashmir is an integral part of Pakistan and the country is incomplete without Kashmir.

He declared that Sindh province and its people will not lag behind in extending moral support to the people of held Kashmir who are fighting for their right of self-determination.

He was speaking at a meeting of Parliamentary Kashmir Committee held at Sindh Assembly Building under the Chairmanship of Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan.

The meeting was attended, among others, by Ghulam Mustafa Khan Jatoi, Rao Sikandar Iqbal, Hamid Nasir Chatha, Dr. Mohammed Farooq Sattar, Pir Aftab Shah Jilani, Syed Muzaffar Hashmi, Nabil Gabol, Mushtaq Mirza and others.

The Chief Minister said that the acts of oppression and suppression being committed by Indian occupation forces in the held valley were a source of grave concern for everyone.

He made a passionate appeal for donation of funds towards Kashmir Relief Fund and said the whole nation should participate in this campaign even by donating a single rupee.

He said all sections of population and institutions including banks, schools, offices etc should carry out a fund raising campaign.

The Chief Minister said that not only PPP but all other political parties should come forward to fully support this cause.

He pointed out that national consensus exists on the issue of Kashmir.

Later the Chief Minister hosted a lunch in honour of the members of Kashmir Committee at Sindh Assembly Building.-APP
