Indian cotton
prices higher
BOMBAY: Indian cotton prices rose on Thursday on renewed demand from mill owners, dealers said.
In spot deals Punjab saw-ginned moved up by 25 rupees to 1,525/1,550 rupees per maund (37.32 kg) while F-414 climbed up by 50/60 rupees to 1,860/1,880 rupees per maund. Gujarat Kalyan (medium-staple) moved up by 500 rupees to 10,600/11,000 rupees per candy (355.56 kg).-Reuter
